Abstract
The article deals with a general model which describes reliability of the group of non-repaired items applied in a construction of a repaired mechatronic system under condition that non-repaired items are preventively replaced by new ones at regular intervals. The model enables us to estimate mean operating time between failures (MTBF) and other parameters of all the mechatronic system. The suggested model also enables us to carry out the analysis of the effect of changes of single input parameters which influence a resulting value MTBF. A practical use of the presented model is illustrated on an example of reliability calculation of the group of the electric drive bearings.
