Abstract
As the first lunar satellite of China, CE-1 fell to the moon in March 1, 2009. The whole falling was conducted to follow a planned track. It´s important to find out when the satellite reached the surface of the moon, which implies how well the track control works. Two suites of CDAS(Chinese Data Acquisition System) worked as the data acquisition backend in monitoring the impact. The time at which CE-1 reached the moon is determined via applying short-time FFT based analysis to the data obtained by CDAS.
