Abstract
Spectrum sensing is one of the most challenging issues in cognitive radio systems. In this paper, a novel detector is proposed for detecting ATSC DTV signal as well as wireless microphone signal. Advanced to conventional detectors, this detector can distinguish two primary user signals at the same time, and its performance is not sensitive to noise uncertainty. The performance of this detector is verified by simulations based on simulated wireless microphone signals and captured ATSC DTV signals.
