Abstract :
The novel Adaptive Hysteresis Handoff Algorithm (AHHA) which has been proposed recently by Zhu and Kwak, is introduced into GSM-R. And, using GA (Genetic Algorithm) for off-line optimization, two key parameters of AHHA are found depending on the goal in which the average number of handoffs is minimal. Simulation results show that two key parameters of AHHA when it is used in GSM-R are sensitive to the velocity of train.
