Mechanism Analysis of Over-speeding Impact on the Road Safety

Vehicle over-speeding is the most important reason of traffic accidents. This paper points at the speeding offense and expounds the relationship between over-speeding and traffic accidents. Besides, from the moving characteristic of vehicles, the behavior characteristic of drivers and the accident characteristic caused by over-speeding, the text analyzes the forming mechanism of traffic safety harmfulness caused by over-speeding deeply. At last, it takes a traffic accident case of over-speeding truck as an example, analyzing the harmfulness and accident reason of vehicles over-speeding on horizontal curve.
