Abstract :
This paper constructed a colored time Petri net model with inhibitor arcs for the data control and transmission in inkjet printing system. The Petri net is based on the basic and some extended Petri nets, combining with the characteristic of control system. Through establishing the Petri net model for the traditional inkjet printing system, analyzing the bottleneck of the data transmission speed, an improved control circuit is proposed. By transmitting the command data and image data separately, the speed is improved. For the improved system, the design of the printhead drive is given.
