Abstract
In recent years, a new distributed computing technology, which proposes the features of cross-platform, language independent, loosely coupled interaction and integration of heterogeneous applications, is becoming an urgent need for process industries with the popularity of internet application. In this paper, a task model is presented for process operation system information integration. A web service technology is applied to task model, and its advanced function and features compared to the traditional distributed integration technology are introduced. A case study of a mini chemical operation platform is used to verify the practicability and validity of proposed task integration model.
