Abstract

It has become an important issue for universities how to improve the students´ specialized innovative ability, practical ability and entrepreneurship. The measures taken in the Automation Laboratory of Yantai University are introduced to promote orderly development of scientific & technological innovative activities. It has been shown through several years´ practices: through establishing the improved management & stimulus mechanism and necessary laboratory open system for the scientific & technological innovative activities, not only the cultivation of students´ innovation ability but also the construction and function transformation of specialized laboratory can be promoted.
