This paper examines the level of life-long education and attitudes of postgraduate students toward personal financial planning. The survey method was used in which 284 respondents were sought from 7 private and public universities in Malaysia. Overall, the survey results indicated that graduate students exhibited positive attitudes significantly on investment, insurance, and estate planning. Retirement planning has lower mean values relatively. The graduate students demonstrated moderate level of financial knowledge. Life-long education on personal financial planning is crucial to prepare graduates for comfortable life in their golden years.
