Abstract
With the fast development of information technology, more and more multimedia technologies are widely used in different fields of education. This paper introduces an optimal course system by using multimedia technology in the teaching of biostatistics. The optimal course system is composed of situational teaching, Computer-Assisted Instruction (CAI), network teaching and interactive teaching. The course system aims to reform traditional teaching and enhance teaching quality and effect of biostatistics. Compared to traditional mode, multimedia teaching is composed of diversified teaching methods to enhance students´ learning interest, deepen the understanding of the teaching content and strengthen student´s ability to analyze problems and to solve problems.
