Abstract :
In this paper, we present a new relay station addition scheme in relay-based 802.16j multi-hop relay networks. A data chain has been established in the transmission information from the new relay station to base station. The path loss has been considered as the key element in this scheme. By calculating the path loss recorded in the data chain of each path, we got the optimal path selection for the new relay station. This mode could serve a better solution scheme for adding new relay station to a complex 802.16j multi-hop relay network environment.
