  • Abstract
    In traditional method teachers are usually set in absolute major position in classroom teaching, while the Constructivist Teaching Theory emphasizes that the student must be the main body in courses. As a matter of fact, both of them are unilateral when applied on Access Database Programming Course teaching. The aim of this paper is to propose a new teaching mode based on Blending Learning Theory, which combines traditional and Constructivist methods. We adopted the method by applying the Blending Learning Theory on Access Database Programming Course teaching. It had been implemented in three different levels, including classroom learning section, experiment practice section and online studying section. After 3-years practice, it had shown good result that this teaching mode was an effective way for harmonizing lecturing factors´ relationships, which can not only enhance teachers´ leading role, but also highlight the prime position of students in our teaching and study process.
