Abstract :
This paper deals with the design and analysis of code book construction for MIMO spatial multiplexing systems with limited feedback of channel state information. We present a capacity based codebook construction algorithm which consider average power and MMSE constraint. The close form solution of optimal transmission scheme with code book are derived, and the optimal precoder structure is also employed in this paper. Simulation results show that the capacity based codebook construction algorithm with power allocation and multi-mode beamforming can achieve higher capacity than existing codebook.
