Abstract

The distinguishing features of supply-chain logistics in iron and steel enterprises was discussed in this paper. The operating framework of supply-chain logistics in iron and steel enterprises was built including stock logistics link, production logistics link, sell logistics link and information system. Led by the framework, the advanced iron and steel enterprises such as POSCO, TATA steel, JFE, Nippon Steel Corporation, and Baosteel group were studied as cases and the conclusion was that integrated supply-chain logistics pattern based on information was adopted in their enterprises but the logistics makers are different according to their own characters. The last, the operation planning of supply-chain logistics in iron and steel enterprises were carried out. It is significance for reference in the field of the supply-chain logistics operation.
