Abstract
Based on the isotropic elastic model, bilinear kinematic hardening model, and bilinear isotropic hardening model, finite element analysis of elastic and plastic problems for punching bimetal sheets was performed with the help of the finite element analysis software named ANSYS. The effect principles of material properties of two constituent metals on the stress and strain are also described in this paper. These principles are beneficial to the design and optimization for punching bimetal sheets and the development of bimetal sheets.
