Abstract
Recently, there are a number of researches on access technologies or network protocols in Inter-Vehicle Communication (IVC) and the standardization of IVC is moving forward actively in Japan. The development of applications using IVC for safety driving is becoming an important issue. Since there is few driving simulators support IVC, it is not easy to evaluate the applications using IVC in a realistic situation. In this paper, we describe the development of a new type of driving simulation platform called ARDS-Platform which supports IVC so that developers can make real-time human-in-the loop experiments to evaluate their applications.
