  • Abstract
    In this paper, an upgrade of AODV protocol is proposed in the sense that communication is possible on several levels (radio ranges). In this approach, network nodes monitor network traffic and topology in order to build a higher level of network used as a bridge to distant nodes. For implementation purposes, self-organized software agent mechanisms have been applied: stigmergy and digital pheromone that should increase robustness, flexibility and scalability of mobile ad hoc network.
