Abstract :
In this article, the general idea and key-tech to develop the CAD system for special-purpose fixture based on SolidWorks are introduced. The heart of the matter is how to build the model of 3D part. The technics of parameter drive design, series design and feature re-building and reordering are used to devolve the problem of building the model of standard part, approximate standard part and non-standard part. With the help of calling the typical model in the library (named expert knowledge), the system may complete the entire design of Special-purpose Fixture.
