Abstract :
A novel algorithm for Vehicle Dynamics Control is developed for tracking desired vehicle behavior. This algorithm employs the optimal and fuzzy control theory to enhance stability and improve performance. The optimal theory is exploited for yaw moment controller and the fuzzy theory is applied for wheel slip controller design. The performance of the proposed controller strategy is evaluated under various emergency maneuvers and road conditions. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the control algorithm developed.
