Abstract
An intensive radiosonde observation was conducted on Jan 11 to 15, in 2006 over Wuhan, from which the diurnal and daily variation of local tropopause are studied. An obviously diurnal variation of tropopause is found and more influence from stratosphere can be inferred. A stable trend of daily variation of both altitude and temperature of tropopause can be clearly observed, too.
