  • Abstract
A robust user number detection method for OFDMA uplink is proposed in this paper. The presented method makes using of the special periodicity of the received signals in one OFDMA block to form a new matrix. Via the rotational invariance techniques, the number of involved users can be estimated. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
