Abstract :
In a bistatic multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar system, the location of each interesting target can be determined by the direction finding cross localization with the direction-of-departure (DOD) and direction-of-arrival (DOA). In this paper, an effective virtual ESPRIT algorithm is proposed for jointly DOA and DOD estimation in bistatic MIMO radar system. The pairing problem is addressed as well, for jointly DOA and DOD estimation. Simulation results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
