Abstract
Change of tire pressure influences the rolling radius directly. In this paper, a new theory is given with which the tire pressure can be monitored by examining the rolling radius of tires. In order to determine whether the tire pressure is abnormal, two new methods are created: how to standardize the pulse number and how to compare the standardized pulse number. Design two class doorsill value and three class alarming mode. Based on the theory and the methods, a set of sample of tire pressure monitoring system is designed and made. The sample works well when tested on road.
