Abstract :
A new adaptive beamforming method is presented to widen nulls of adaptive antenna array. The presented method utilizes the second-order cone programs (SCOP) to improve the beamforming control performances. This proposed method can provide increased robustness against the mismatch problem as well as control over the sidelobe level. In addition, the proposed method can widen the width of nulls for interference signal sources. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the performance achievable.
