Abstract :
In recent years, In view of the lacks of an effective algorithm-integrating mechanism and a friendly graphical user interface of the toolkits in the field of the medicine image processing and analyzing, the authors designed and implemented a software system of medicine imaging (SOMI) based on the Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE). A reconstruction and visualization module for slice-data was implemented in the software system, which provided a workflow mechanism to integrate a series of algorithms and visualization tools. This module can realize the analysis, 3D reconstruction and visualization of the slice-data of the Visual Chinese Human. Having flexible and extensible architecture of integrating algorithms and data sources, the SOMI enables an ideal integrated environment for medical imaging researchers.
