Abstract
The paper describes the peculiarities of the technical solutions, operation characteristics and results of the field tests of a prototype of the semiconductor Ka-band radar sensor with a coherent signal processing designed to be used as a part of the surface monitoring system at airports. The prototype have been developed, fabricated and tested by IRE NASU (Kharkov, Ukraine) and OJSC SPE «Saturn» (Kiev, Ukraine).
