The output of VCLC sublayer was taken as the input of the VCA sublayer on CCSDS AOS, whose multiplexing efficiency and formed-time directly affect the performance of the virtual channel and whole system. Based on Poisson distribution, the research on multiplexing efficiency was transformed into the occurred probability of packets arriving. While establishing the probability and statistics model of packets channel multiplexing, a new virtual channel scheduling model with weighted slots and the optimized throughput was proposed, which combined MPDU formed-time of VCLC sublayer with scheduling time of VCA sublayer. Simulation results showed that the new cross-layer model can increase channel throughput and reduced transfer delay.
