After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

In this paper we present a new fourth order iterative method for solving nonlinear equations based on linear combination well known third-order variant of Newton methods. Convergence order is proved. Several numerical examples are given and compared with other known Newton type methods. The results show that the method developed in this paper has some more advantages than other well known methods including Newton´s method.
