  • Abstract
    At present, it is still by using manual method to detect the defects on micro bearing surface. The method is laborious and time consuming. Moreover, it has a low efficiency and high miss-detection rate. Due to the fact, an on-line automatic detection system is developed using linear CCD. The proposed system is composed of three subsystems: the detection environment setting subsystem, the automatic detection subsystem, and the data management subsystem. In order to lead the above subsystems to cooperate with each other, control software is developed with LabVIEW 8.5 as a platform. Experimental results indicate that the system realizes the predefined functions and caters to the requirements of stability, real-time performance, and accuracy. Thus it can be applied for actual production.
