Ecologicalization is one of the most important approaches for environmental protection and sustainable development of industry. In this study, firstly, the history and current situation of Dioscorea zingiberensis industry are reviewed, and its future is predicted. Then, the correlation between yam planting and ecological environmental changes, as well as the environmental impacts in Dioscorea zingiberensis extracting, is analyzed. Furthermore, the ecologicalizaton concept framework of Dioscorea zingiberensis industry is discussed. Finally, the ecological patterns and institutional arrangements of Dioscorea zingiberensis industry ecologicalization are provided.
