Abstract :
Rainfall, especially rainstorm is one of most important triggering factors to the activities of geological disasters, Which has brought great losses to people´s life an property. In the support of GIS technology, taking Hubei Province,China as study area, based on detailed analysis of the geological disasters influence factors, this article imported matter-element comprehensive evaluation model to evaluate regional rainstorm geological disasters. Results indicated that high-risk area of geo-hazards mainly concentrated in Northwest, Southwest and Southeast of Hubei, middle-risk area roughly distributed in west and east and low-risk area mainly in central and most parts of the Northeast. Research showed the matter-element comprehensive evaluation model theory was simple, easy to operate and had a high degree of quantitative, which has broad application prospects in zoning and evaluation of regional meteorological disasters.
