Abstract :
3D building model is the important foundation of constructing virtual landscape of 3D city. This paper will focus on building models and construct buildings in small scene with existing survey data based on the secondary development of Google SketchUp. The concept of scenelite will be illustrated. The research shows that the method can effectively reduce the redundancy of repeated work in modeling. It is useful for querying, managing the building objects, and performing 3D topological analysis with the scenelite model.
