Abstract :
On the basis of shortage existing in traditional WebGIS, this paper puts forward a novel WebGIS framework based on Ajax, Web Services and SOA. The framework combines Ajax with Web Services. Through invocating Web services asynchronously by Ajax, the problems of poor user experience, system isomeric compatibility, system integration and mutual operation etc. are solved. The conclusion means a great deal to constructing and running the WebGIS with high quality and efficiency.
