Depth triangulation is a common model to express seafloor topography. To solve limitations of the current constructing algorithms, the paper presented an optimum algorithm based on coastline constraint. The algorithm distilled coastline data of one chart, computed drying height of the coastline, and regarded it as the triangulation boundary constraint. The experiment showed that the algorithm can avoid unreasonable instances that triangulation traverses land or islands and create body-fitted depth triangulation. It is favor of the expression of seafloor topography, especially fit for the construction of depth triangulation in the inshore region or coastal zone.
