    With the increasingly prominent serious problems of social aging population, special attention should be paid to social sustainable development. Taking the social promotion of universal design of the aging as premise, this paper tries to study its influence and the concrete effectiveness in such areas as resources conservation, enterprise development, social harmony and so on. In terms of respect and concern, human nature emotions and cohesive integrations, it also analyzes the strategic significance of universal design regarding to the over-all sustainable development of social aging, and proposes the sustainable thoughts which the universal design bears and its functions demonstrated in the development of a harmonious and healthy social.
