Abstract :
Passenger carriage body painting process requires both good appearance and intensity design. The carriage generally produced with steel plate, stainless steel plate and aluminum. The painting procedures, processing time and drying time are various different among the three types of materials from 2 hours to 20 hours. The purpose of this paper is to solve the jam problems causing by daily schedule and mixture manufacturing through the analysis of logistics in painting shop. ARENA was adopted for modeling the logic process and some analysis was created after adding certain waiting space and painting shops to optimize the process.
