Abstract :
Supplier selection is a multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problem. However, selecting a proper supplier is not an easy decision because lots of evaluating criteria such as product quality, cost, delivery dependability, customer service and so on should be considered. This paper is aimed to present a intuitionistic fuzzy decision-making approach to deal with the supplier selection problem in supply chain system. First, we analyzed the factors for selecting supplier based on some related literature. Furthermore, we proposed a new approach based on intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS to deal with supplier selection problem. Finally, an example of a selection problem of supplier was used to illustrate the proposed approach.
