Abstract
This paper presents a new set of intelligent and automatically detective system for internal pores structure of a new environment-friendly decorative board based on the image processing technique. In contrast to the traditional detective methods for board internal pores, the method proposed here is less costs and much more suitable for board quality monitor in industrial production lines. In order to value pore structure, roundness, equivalent diameter, and configuration coefficient were calculated, and then combined with the porosity and porosity uniformity to value the board quality, which was closely relevant to physical and mechanical properties of the panel. The experimental results showed that our system was feasibility to some extent.
