Abstract :
We overview recent advances in nanophotonics devices with emphasis on quantum dot lasers. The discussion includes high-performance quantum dot lasers and light-matter interaction in a single quantum dot with photonic crystal nanocavity. A single artificial atom lasers with two-dimensional photonic crystal nanocavity is demonstrated. Moreover, lasing oscillation in a quantum dot-three-dimensional photonic crystal nanocavity coupled system with the highest Q factor is achieved.
