Abstract :
Criterion on extinction ratio and overshooting level of smaller than 3dB and -5dB, respectively, for The SOA amplitude squeezed ASE data-stream to injection-lock the weak-resonant-cavity laser diode transmitter approaching BER<;;10-9 at 2.5 Gbit/s is reported.
