Abstract :
A two stage medium-power balanced amplifier was designed using small signal S-parameters model on a low cost FR4 substrate and fabricated for S-band telemetry application. From the measured results, an output power up to 26.58-dBm was achieved with a maximum gain ripple of ± 1.5 dB over frequency range of 2.45-2.55 GHz which is in very good agreement with simulation results. An effective technique, that is, low frequency termination network was employed and modified for broadband stability.
