Technologies have been developed that are specifically designed to aid developing countries handle and treat their clinical waste more safely.The decisions regarding which technology is most appropriate will depend on local circumstances and needs, but one of the first steps has been taken to allow developing countries to use appropriate technology to treat their clinical waste.
