Abstract
We have developed a tracking simulator, which runs concurrently with a real plant and simulates it. The internal states and parameters of the simulator are modified to fit the states of the plant based on actual plant measurements. This tracking simulator will allow the development of new support systems for plant operations, such as visualization of the internal states of the plant and prediction of future responses, etc. In the present study, we applied this tracking simulator to a depropanizer process with a distillation column.
