Abstract
This paper describes a contact-type alcohol checker. The conventional checker is a breathalyzer type, which cannot always be used by the drivers themselves. Other applications pose the same problem. In this study, we evaluated the performance of a novel contact-type alcohol checker that can be easily embedded in a mobile phone or the steering wheel of a car. Alcohol is detected and measured from the driver´s perspiration.
