Abstract
This paper deals with a new proposal of man-machine interface for high-quality life employing miscellaneous bio-signals such as EMG. The proposed interface is not only designed for some particular application, but also designed as a universal interface for every kinds of plants. It employs neural network for flexible applicability of the interface. The authors are now developing a new EMG measurement and acquisition system for this interface, which includes EMG electrode, amplifier, RF transmitter and receiver. These components are designed and developed to have enough performance and easiness to use at considerable low cost. In this paper, developed devices and some preliminary experiments are reported mainly focusing of RF transmission performance. Consequently, the authors show that the developed system can send EMG data faster than video frame rate which is a commonly required speed for miscellaneous human interfaces.
