Abstract :
This study presents the objectives and practical approaches of information sharing on industrial networks. The scope of this study includes industrial control systems that use network-based controllers interconnected to business systems. The authors describe why energy efficiency needs plant data sharing with technical energy considerations, and show potential examples that realize this information sharing.
