  • Abstract
    FDT is a program interface between DTM and frame application. One of the features of DTM is that the DTM is a software component, which can represent full of device functionality. Using this feature, we have developed the software module package “FlowNavigator” on FDT/DTM environment. “FlowNavigator” is an additional flow configuration software module inside device DTM. The target devices of the “FlowNavigator” have flow calculation functionality. Using FDT/DTM technology we extended the flow calculation functionality of these devices easily. In this paper we show the feature of FDT/DTM which helps to extend the functionality of the intelligent devices. This way breaks limitation of intelligent device required by process application and leads expanding usage of intelligent device.
