Abstract
A high intensity external electromagnetic radiation is applied to a rectangular aperture to study the front door coupling into a complicated enclosure. The study is based on the determination of radiation impedance of apertures to obtain the probability levels of the induced voltages along a monopole antenna. Experimental validation is carried out using a computer box as an enclosure. A good agreement is obtained between simulations and measurements.
