Abstract
For students majoring in IE, it is puzzled to study mechanical courses. To this end, this paper deals with IE mechanical courses teaching reform so as to improve the students´ comprehensive ability. Firstly, the following are discussed: 1) the curriculum in IE education. 2) undergraduate education in IE and comprehensive ability cultivation. 3) the relationship between information technology and IE education. Secondly, the position and characteristics of mechanical courses in IE education are given. Then, the relationships between information technology and comprehensive ability of students are discussed. Finally, the problems existing in mechanical courses in IE education and improvement methods are proposed. The exploration and practice of the IE education reform in the mechanical courses can improve comprehensive ability of IE students by means of information technology.
