Teaching practice of database application development

On the basis of the direction of application and development of the Specialty of Computer Science and Technology and from the perspective of market demand and cultivation of applied and innovative talents, the paper describes the teaching tasks and content settings of database application development. Through the analysis of the content of the subject, the paper puts forward the following teaching methods that case studies shall be mainly adopted to teach the classes with database design as the main content, and video film recording shall be adopted as the auxiliary means to teach the classes with operation as the main content, and emphasis of the cultivation of software debugging capability shall be placed on the classes with coding as the main content. At the same time, the author also proposes a performance rating method helpful for the cultivation of practical capability.
